My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Mi Cabin 6, located in Harbor Springs, Michigan for a long weekend staycation. The cabin was within a 15 minute drive from Downtown Petoskey and Downtown Harbor Springs.
This cabin was nothing short of stunning!
After enjoying the cabin the first night we headed into Downtown Petoskey to explore. There was so much to see we had to make another visit the next day. We got craft coffee from Populace Petoskey many times (literally more than 1x a day). We shopped at local boutiques for table books, postcards, cards, and gifts. A few of the favorite stores were Flora Bae, Gliks and August.
After lots of exploring downtown, we had some quiet time (aka the little one napped) then we went to Petoskey State Park. This was by far a highlight of our trip. We have foster kids and it was one of their first times remembering going to a big beach.
The last thing we did was used the cabin for content creation for marketing. It was so fun to get new brand photos for each other in a lifestyle location like a modern a-frame cabin in up-north Michigan!
To wrap it up – us and our family had a great time! A few things that helped us feel a little more relaxed on our trip were: no tv, eating breakfast together, limiting going out to eat but making meals at the cabin, bringing a candle from home, letting the kids leave the house in PJs for coffee, and staying 3 nights vs 2. We can’t wait to visit the Petoskey area again and stay at MI Cabin 6!
